PURSE-SNICKETY
Felted Purses by Connie
Since Connie doesn't use any patterns, but instead, takes an idea
and allows it to develop as she works with her beautiful yarns,
each of these creations is as unique as the person carrying it.
After the purse has been felted she lets it tell her how it wants
to be decorated. This makes each purse an individual piece of
wearable art.

Connie
retired from teaching in 2008. As a co-director of a charter school
during the last five years of her career she put her heart and soul
into educating the child – the whole child – with much
emphasis given to her favorite subject, art.
She
still shares her love and knowledge of art with children and teachers
whenever she gets the chance.

Purse
and handle are knit together. The flap has a magnetic closure.
Fully lined. Embellished with 5 petal felted flower with light
green yarn covered button and five orange french knots. 9"X6"

Twisted
leather handles. Zipper closure with dragonfly zipper pull. Embellishment
is multicolored gathered cotton ribbon in a doodle design sewed
on with gold thread. 9"X7"

All
purses are fully lined. The ones shown here are examples. The actual
purse you receive will be unique. You can request colors and pick

Knitted
with string fringe at the top. Retro style button closure. Bamboo
handles. Fully lined with cotton butterfly print. size 10"X6"

by a cobalt blue button. Embellished with crocheted doily and
blue beads sewn into the design. Purse is lined with dusty rose

handle knitted into the purse. It is lined with a dusty lavendar
and has a zipper closure. The flowers are needle felted into the
purse with gold beads showing the flight of the gold butterfly.

It is lined with Kelly green satin. The purse is 9"X6"
The flap is embellished with needle felted colors similar to
the purse colors and a splash of yellow. The sunflower is made
